Caruse Design founder Allan Chen didn’t speak English when he first immigrated to Southern California as a teenager, yet he managed to find his passion immediately: automobiles. Attending car shows with friends sparked Allan’s imagination in a way high school could not. He customized his first VW Jetta to a “ridiculous degree” and began working in the automotive industry. His employers noticed and utilized Allan’s innate design aesthetic. In 2002, he started his first business – something that would not have been possible had he stayed in Taiwan. Every day, Allan is grateful for the opportunities America provides.
Driven by pure passion, Allan no longer adds parts just to add parts. Rather, he turns his visualizations into products only when they satisfy his aspiration to make the shape of a vehicle more visually appealing. His designs always follow the body line with precision and utilize the Golden Ratio to ensure correct proportions are maintained.
Now, with 20 years of industry experience and a solid 10-year factory partnership, Allan presents Caruse Design: all original designs, manufactured to perfection with the finest custom materials. Caruse Design is committed to creating aftermarket enhancements that look and fit like original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components.
Caruse Design combines artistic vision with meticulous attention to detail. 3D scanning, modeling, and printing are utilized to ensure exact fitment prior to manufacture.
